Institute of Productivity and Management (IPM) is a B-School located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. The college was established in the year of 1977. It is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow.

• Institute of Productivity and Management, offers a two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) degree program to its students.
• Admission to the PGDM program is done based on the rank secured by candidates in National / State level examinations such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, or any other National Level Aptitude Test.
• Candidates will be shortlisted based on CAT/MAT/GMAT scores.
• They will be called for Group Discussions and Personal Interviews accordingly.

MBA Admission 2023

Institute of Productivity and Management(IPM), Kanpur, offers a graduate Diploma Management program (PGDM) equivalent to the MBA degree course. The course duration for the program is two years. The PGDM program further specializes in five different management specializations.

Aspiring candidates for the PGDM program must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

To apply for the PGDM program, candidates must have appeared in any of the National level Aptitude Tests like CAT/ MAT / CMAT / GMAT or any other National Level Aptitude Test.

Shortlisted candidates have to go through Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds which will be conducted by IPM, Kanpur.

PGDM Admission

• A valid score in any of the National Aptitude Tests is mandatory for applying for the course.
• The final selection will be done based on overall academic performance in the Written Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.
• Any Eligible candidate can be rejected at any stage of the admission process as the final decision of Admission is in the hands of the Admission Committee of the Institute in all matters.
• The institute will inform the selected candidates about their admission through registered posts. They must pay the first installation of fees as given in the letter of Admission before the date mentioned.
•  In case of failure, the seat will be given to the next candidate in waiting.

Application Process 2023

• Mode of Application: Online and Offline
• For Online Mode, the candidate can visit the official website of the college and fill out the Online Application Form.
• Upload all the documents and pay the application fees online.
• Applicants will get an application number upon submitting the online application by making a successful online payment.
• For Offline mode, candidates can download the Application Form and take a printout.
• Also, they can get the Registration Form and Prospectus through mail or by visiting the college personally.
• Application Fees: INR 500.
• Applicants may also pay the application fee through Demand Draft/ Cash. If paying through DD, it should be drawn in favor of IPM, Kanpur.
