The centrally air-conditioned computer center offers a wide array of computation-related services, ensuring uninterrupted access to email, web hosting, internet, and high-performance computing. With nine cutting-edge laboratories equipped with the latest software, students delve into various computational domains, complemented by the expansive Central Library housing over 20,000 reference titles and digital resources. The library facility at the Institute of Technology and Management (ITM), Meerut, is designed to support the academic objectives of the institution by providing comprehensive resources for learning, teaching, scholarship, and research. The Central Library, located in a self-contained independent campus, spans an impressive area of 10,000 square feet. It houses over 20,000 latest reference titles covering technical, management, and related subjects, along with a collection of professional journals from both national and international sources. The reference section is regularly updated with reprints of reports, monographs, and classic articles relevant to the courses offered at ITM. Additionally, the library provides access to CD-based study materials, live video lectures by eminent professors, and computer-based tutorials. The web journal facility allows students to access the table of contents, abstracts, and full-text versions of major national and international journals. Moreover, the Digital Library is equipped with internet access, NPTEL, and Developing Library Network (DELNET) facilities, providing access to e-books, e-journals, and CD/DVD resources. Students also benefit from online access to e-resources from renowned publishers such as IEEE, Wiley Blackwell, Springer, McGraw Hill, J-Gate, Elsevier, and ASTM Digital Library. The library is efficiently managed using Vidya Library software for automation, and the classification of books follows the DDC 22nd edition system, ensuring easy access and organization of resources for students and faculty alike.
The computer center at the Institute of Technology and Management (ITM), Meerut, plays a pivotal role in providing essential computation-related facilities to students and staff. It offers a wide range of services, including email, web hosting, DNS management, FTP access, internet connectivity, and high-performance computing (HPC) resources, ensuring uninterrupted support for academic and administrative activities. The center is centrally air-conditioned and covers an area of 300 square meters, equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software to cater to the evolving needs of information technology. With nearly nine laboratories in the computer and IT departments, students have access to the latest software and tools for various computational tasks. The Computer Systems Laboratory provides a comprehensive learning environment, combining experimental and theoretical approaches across diverse domains such as operating systems, computer networking, compilers, programming languages, graphics, and system security. Students benefit from 24-hour access to all computing labs within the department, enabling them to engage in hands-on learning and research activities at their convenience.
