Education Qualification for Admission

(i) The minimum academic qualification for admission to the B.Tech program is a pass with at least 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to “SC/ST/OBC(Non-creamy layer)/SBC(Non-creamy layer)” of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as listed below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) from the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Board.

(ii) Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to the B.Tech. course shall be as follows:

Compulsory Subjects: Physics & Mathematics

Optional Subjects:

(1) Chemistry (2) Bio-technology

(3) Computer Science (4) Biology

AGE LIMIT

Only candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1989, are eligible. However, for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years. That is, SC, ST, and PwD candidates born on or after October 01, 1984, are eligible. The date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education mark sheet/certificate only will be considered authentic.
