Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, such as Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) - either the three-year/six-semester integrated course, B.Com (Old Course), or other semester-based programs like Bachelor of Commerce (Banking & Insurance), Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Markets), or Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.) from this University or any other recognized equivalent University.

The duration of the M. Com. Programme is two years, consisting of four semesters. The examinations for each semester (Semester I, Semester II, Semester III, and Semester IV) are conducted accordingly. Examinations for Semester I are held in the second half of the academic year (October/November), Semester II examinations occur in the first half of the calendar year (April/May), Semester III examinations are held in the second half of the calendar year (October/November), and Semester IV examinations conclude in the first half of the calendar year (April/May).

Additionally, candidates admitted to the degree course in the constituent/affiliated college or recognized institution conducting the course must register themselves with the University.

B.Com	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
BBM/BMS	Candidates who passed 12th/equivalent from the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or any recognized institute/board are eligible to apply. Candidates of reserved category passed 12th/equivalent from Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education any recognized institute/board with 40% are eligible to apply. Candidates who passed a Diploma in any Engineering branch with two years or three years duration conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, or its equivalent examination are eligible to apply.
