Admission to Jawahar Lal Nehru Centre For Advanced Scientific Research is offered to candidates who have qualified in national-level examinations such as GATE, JAM, JEST, CSIRNET, and ICMR. Those candidates who hold qualifications from GATE, JAM, JEST, CSIRNET, and ICMR may be exempted from taking the JNCASR Entrance Exam. Selection of these candidates is based on their performance in the respective qualifying tests and subsequent personal interviews. For research programs, candidates are chosen based on their scores in GATE, CSIR-UGC (JRF), JEST, and INSPIRE examinations.
