This unified course curriculum, in all three (undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral) programmes, is offered, as per the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) norms. The admission to JNKVV is conducted through online procedures. Two separate entrance examinations are organized: one for admission to UG programmes (PAT) and another for combined admission to PG and doctoral degree programmes.
The candidates selected through the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) entry test, are admitted over and above the prescribed seats from time to time. Admission to NRI is done subject to their fulfilment of the prescribed minimum admission requirement and other conditions laid down by the Govt. of M.P. (Department of Agriculture) and the V.V. from time to time.
JNKVV offers a B.Sc. course with two specializations which are agriculture and forestry. The duration of the programme is 3 years. Students who have passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and biology as compulsory subjects.
JNKVV also offers B.Tech. course in agriculture engineering. The course duration is 4 years.
JNKVV offers M.Sc. in two specializations which are agriculture and forestry. Students who have completed their graduation in the same specialization are eligible for the programme.
JNKVV also offers M.Tech and MBA courses.
JNKVV offers a PhD programme in agriculture and agriculture engineering.
The students who have completed their graduation and post-graduation from a recognized university are eligible for the program.
1. JNKVV offers admission to the university through an entrance examination.
2. Admission of candidates to the Bachelor's Degree course of the University shall be made through the entrance test being conducted by the Professional Examination Board, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
3. Candidates selected by the ICAR entry test shall be admitted over and above the prescribed seats from time to time.
