Currently, JNU University comprises nearly 14 schools and 50+ centres of study offering over 100 courses with a wide range of specialisations. These courses are offered across various streams such as Arts, Technology, Management, Science, etc. at UG, PG, and doctoral levels. UG courses in JNU Delhi include BA (Hons), BSc, and BTech, among others. Whereas Jawaharlal Nehru University offers MA, MSc, MTech, and MBA courses at the PG level. It also offers several PhD and integrated programmes. Jawaharlal Nehru University course admissions are entrance-based. Additionally, JNU admission to BA (Hons) in Foreign Languages, BSc-MSc Integrated Programme in Ayurveda Biology, and Certificate of Proficiency courses is based on CUET-UG scores. For PG courses, CUET-PG and some other national-level exams are accepted. Master's degree courses in JNU Delhi include MBA, MSc, MA, and MTech.
Admission in JNU Delhi to the MBA programme is based on the scores of the CAT exam. Candidates seeking admission to BTech at JNU Delhi must appear for the JEE Main exam. Jawaharlal Nehru University CUET PG Cutoff 2026 (Expected)
JNU Cutoff 2026 is out for admission to MA, M.Sc, M.Tech, MPH, MCA, PG Diploma, and ADOP programs. JNU PG cutoff score/rank is based on scores obtained in the CUET PG examination. JNU cutoff marks (percentile) are calculated based on overall scores obtained in the CUET examination. This year, MA Sociology witnessed the highest cutoff marks of 97.6667, followed by MA Arabic, for which the cutoff marks are 96 in the general category. The lowest cutoff marks stood at 30 for admission to the M.Tech Data Science program.
Jawaharlal Nehru University CUET UG Cutoff 2026 (Expected)
JNU CUET UG 2026 cutoff will be released soon for admission to BA (Hons) and B.Sc+M.Sc programs. Cutoff scores at JNU are released in a percentile format that is calculated based on overall scores obtained in the CUET examination. For eg, you need to score more than 380 to meet the BA (Hons) CUET Cutoff score that was 73.59 - 89.78 percentile last year. Course-wise expected cutoff (minimum and maximum cutoff percentile) for Unreserved (UR) category candidates based on the previous year's cutoff marks.
Jawaharlal Nehru University has a dedicated placement cell, known as the JNU Placement Cell, to provide placement assistance to students. The JNU Placement cell conducts various workshops, placement camps, and trade fairs to bridge the gap between the recruiters and students. As per the JNU Overall NIRF Report 2024, the median package offered during JNU placements 2025 for UG 3-year and PG 2-year programmes stood at INR 8 LPA and INR 9 LPA, respectively.
