Library:

The JJ College Of Arts & Science (Autonomous) Library was established on 17th January 1994 and had just 739 volumes of books to start with. From then on the Library has consistently grown and today it has 28,485 volumes and 64 Periodicals are subscribed. The Library operations are mostly computerized, especially the circulation of books and cataloging. This has made possible user-friendly self-checkout and self-check-in procedures and web-based OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). We have spacious Reading Halls, Stack Rooms, Rooms for the Librarian and library staff, and different sections of the Library. It has all the equipment essential for computing, printing, and reprography. The Library is fully automated. Bar-Coding Technology and ID Card Scanning systems are in place.

Boys Hostel

Hostel amenities are available for the students. There are six blocks - three each for men. Apart from well-appointed rooms, the hostel also has a large mess hall. Apart from A.C. Rooms, there are dormitory-style rooms available in the hostel. The hostel has an internet center as well as special security measures. Hostel life is very convenient for the students.

Girls Hostel

Hostel accommodations for students are available in six blocks, three of which are designated for women. These blocks are equipped with well-maintained rooms, a large mess hall, and a variety of accommodation options, including A.C. rooms, dormitory-style rooms, an Internet center, and special security measures. Hostel life is highly satisfactory for students.

Medical/Hospital

The health center provides comprehensive care for students and staff, with a trained nurse on duty during the designated hours. A physician is available on alternate days, and the doctor can be contacted at any time. This service is extended to the communities in villages close to the College. In the event of an emergency, the Centre is able to refer the matter to the Government Hospital, or to a private clinic accompanied by an escort. A dedicated van is available round the clock for this purpose. Additionally, a mini Pharmacy is located in the center, and a general medical checkup is conducted for new entrants upon admission.

Gym

The JJ College Of Arts & Science (Autonomous) has a 16-station multi-gym and a Fitness Centre open during morning and evening hours, under the care of the Department of Physical Education. It helps students to keep fit and maintain good health.

Sports

Management is all about the overall growth of the person. The college sports infrastructure includes a multi-purpose playground with a 200MTS track, a football field, a hockey field, a cricket pitch, a basketball court, a Kabaddi court, a ball badminton court, a volleyball court, a handball court, a fitness center (with 16 stations), and a multi-purpose indoor stadium for basketball, badminton, and table tennis. We also host lots of tournaments, including Zonal, Inter-Zonal and Inter-University. We've nurtured a lot of athletes, including P.Anuradha who was a gold medalist in All India Inter University, as you can see in our photo gallery. The College provides all kinds of help to promising athletes, from fee concessions to free boarding, accommodation, coaching, etc., depending on their level of success.

I.T Infrastructure

The JJ College Of Arts & Science (Autonomous) has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. To facilitate e-learning, the College has a Net Centre. UG and PG students have a net-hour dovetailed into the weekly timetable. They can access the net during leisure hours to make a nominal payment. Adequate sports staff have been appointed. The Campus is under wi-fi coverage and students can access the net at any time according to convenience on their PCs.

Laboratories

The JJ College Of Arts & Science (Autonomous) is equipped with ten laboratories for the purpose of teaching and research in a variety of disciplines, including Physics and Chemistry; Industrial Electronics; Biochemistry; Biotechnology; Microbiology; Botany; and Technology.

Cafeteria

A Canteen functions on the Campus in the Canteen and Guest House Block. It is open from 7.30 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. It serves Soft Drinks, Snacks, Light Tiffin, and Meals. Fast food services are also available.
