JSS Academy of Technical Education Admission Latest Updates
Admission is open for all UG and PG courses for the academic session 2024-25. The application fees for JSS Academy of Technical Education Bangalore depend on the program in which program you want to be admitted. The JSS Academy of Technical Education is also accepting applications for Lateral Entry Courses, Online Degree Programs, and Distance Education Courses.

For Admission to the B.Tech Course in 2024, candidates must have completed their Class 12th or an equivalent examination. They should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Electronics, or Computer Science. A minimum aggregate score of 45% (40% for reserved categories) is required.
The selection process for the B.Tech course is based on the marks obtained in the KCET/COMEDK-UGET examinations. Candidates are required to participate in these qualifying examinations, selecting JSSATE as their preferred institute during the counseling session. Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification and offline counseling at the campus.

Selection Criteria: Based on KCET/COMEDK UGET marks
KCET is a state-level examination for Karnataka candidates, while non-Karnataka candidates should apply with COMED-K UGET marks. Counseling for both examinations is conducted online, and shortlisted candidates must attend an offline counseling and document verification session at the campus.
Admission to the M.Tech Course in 2024 requires candidates to have completed a B.E./B.Tech. course with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) in the relevant branch.
The selection process is based on the GATE examination. Shortlisted candidates will attend a counseling session at the campus.

Candidates applying for the MBA Course in 2024 should have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST/Cat-1 candidates).
Admission to the MBA course is based on the marks secured in CAT/MAT/GMAT. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an offline counseling session.

Candidates can apply only through offline mode by obtaining forms from the campus or the website. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a counseling session at the campus.
Application forms and brochures can be obtained from the JSSATE office or VTU office. The filled-in application form with qualifying examination marks must be submitted to the campus along with the required documents. Shortlisted candidates will receive counseling schedules via email.

Reservation Criteria
For M.Tech., if general category seats remain vacant after allotment to GATE candidates, 90% of the seats are reserved for Karnataka candidates, and the remaining 10% for non-Karnataka candidates. Reservation is provided for SC, ST, and OBC candidates.
GATE Stipend is available for candidates applying through GATE marks. The institute facilitates SC/ST/OBC students in obtaining scholarships from the Social Welfare Office/Minority Departments of the Government of Karnataka.
