Established in 1976, the Kakatiya University Health Centre, though initially limited in infrastructure, has evolved to include a permanent Medical Officer at the University Campus and another unit at University Arts & Science College, Subedari.  The Subedari unit caters to the health needs of students and staff at University PG College and University College of Law.

Library:

Founded in 1976, Kakatiya University in Warangal originated from the PG Centre of Osmania University (established in 1967). Initially, books were acquired by the Kakatiya University Library but were housed in respective departments until 1982. The University Library Building, constructed by Prof. K. Venkat    Ramaiah, the inaugural Vice-Chancellor, was inaugurated in 1982 to centralize the library collection.

Sports:

The university dedicates 45 acres of land for playfields, equipped with standard facilities for various games and sports. These include Athletics, Football, Hockey, Cricket (4), Handball (2), Volleyball (2), Badminton (3), Ball Badminton, Basketball, Kabaddi (2), Kho-Kho (2), Table Tennis (2), Tennis, a Gymnastic hall, and a Multi Gym with weightlifting facilities.
