Library

Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University Library was established in Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit Vishavwagalaya by donating the oldest rare, precious books of the Maharajadhiraja Sir Kameshwar Singh Ji. It started with an immediate introduction to 6,084 ancient books. The number of books received from the Universities Grants Commission, New Delhi, and other sources respectively increased significantly. Apart from these, a unique museum was established in the year 1976 by the courtesy of Queen Kamasundari. There are a total of 659 assays, which are kept in the new building of the Central Library. The Maharaja's Angavastram in the museum, the rare ancient idols, the pictures of Staunchu Daniels of Anand Vilas Mahal, and other photos are important. Computer and other requisite equipment have been purchased under the INFLIBNET program by the VVG commission, New Delhi, as well as Internet by the Government of India, Bihar Government, BSNL has been working. Information about books available to the vigilantes, accountants, and other inquiries through the computer is available in the library. Vishwavidyala's own website has also been started. Worldwide is trying to make the website a more powerful medium of information. Automation work is underway from the UGC scheme, and digitization will be done after the completion of this work. Data of 60930 books have been fitted on SOUL Software.
