Karpagam Institute of Technology BE Admission

Karpagam Institute of Technology offers a 4-year full-time B.E program in five different disciplines. Admission to the B.E program is based on the candidate's scores in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with a total of 200 marks—Mathematics accounting for 100 marks and the other two subjects for the remaining 100.

Admissions are conducted through counseling by Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA). Eligible candidates can apply via the official TNEA website, with the rank list expected to be announced on June 22. Applicants should have passed their higher secondary exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, scoring a minimum of 50% aggregate in these three subjects.

Children of Central Government employees who have served in Tamil Nadu for the past five years are also eligible for admission. Similarly, children of All India Service Tamil Nadu Cadre officers can apply. Non-residents who have completed their 8th to 12th standard in Tamil Nadu can apply without providing a nativity certificate.

Candidates are required to participate in the TANCA process for document verification, seat allotment, and finalizing admission.

Application Process

To apply for TNEA, candidates should click on the "register" tab found on the official website's homepage. After completing the registration successfully, applicants are required to enter their personal and academic details. Following this, candidates need to pay the application fee and submit the form.

The application fee for the B.E program is INR 300 for unreserved categories. Payment can be made using Credit/Debit cards or Net Banking. Along with the completed application form, candidates should also attach self-attested copies of the following documents:
