Training & Placement Department 
KCE offers a comprehensive range of services to ensure students are well-prepared for their professional careers. These services include organizing both on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives, fostering industry connections through industrial visits, in-plant training, and guest lectures to equip students with practical insights. The department collaborates with professional bodies like IETE, IEEE, ISTE, the Institution’s Innovation Cell, the Confederation of Indian Industry, and the Institution of Engineers (India) to promote student interests. Additionally, the department conducts corporate training programs and provides faculty upskilling initiatives to enhance classroom instruction.

Faculty members are also encouraged to pursue sabbatical training opportunities in various industries, leveraging industry connections to enrich the teaching and learning process.

Training and Placement Roadmap


First Year
The initial phase in the first year focuses on instilling discipline, grooming, career planning, personality development, and language skills. Students are also introduced to employable skills and the job market to help them plan their career paths effectively.

Second Year
From the second year, the emphasis shifts to enhancing students' aptitude, cognitive learning, and skilling, covering quantitative aptitude, verbal ability, and reasoning. This phase aims to sharpen students' analytical skills and time management abilities for successful campus interviews.

Third Year
Starting from the third year, the focus shifts to enhancing technical competencies and bridging the gap between academia and industry. KCE offers an employability empowerment program, an advanced technical training boot camp conducted by industry experts after semester exams.

Fourth Year
In the final year, students have the opportunity to undertake internships in industries as part of their final-year projects, with stipends provided. Upon successful completion, students may receive full-time employment offers, and the college invites industries for on-campus recruitment drives. Over 60 MNCs visit KCE annually, contributing to its strong placement record. After recruitment, offer letters are handed over to the students by the Training and Placement Department.
