KIT, Salem Admission

KIT offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. level degree courses in various disciplines of engineering. The courses offered by the Knowledge Institute of Technology are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute itself is accredited by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a “B++” Grade.

Candidates seeking admission to KIT must apply for TNEA/TANCA counseling.
Government quota seats will be allotted through counseling only.
Candidates seeking admission under management/ NRI quota need not register for TNEA and contact the college directly for admission.
To be eligible for B.E or B.Tech., candidates should have passed 10+2 with PCM.
The minimum eligibility for an M.E. is to have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
Candidates with a valid GATE score are given the first preference.
TANCET candidates are allotted the vacant seats left after the admission of GATE candidates.
For Ph.D. candidates should have a Master’s degree in the concerned discipline.
Selection will be based on an entrance test and interview conducted by the institute.
Reservation is provided as per norms set by Anna University and the TN state govt.
