CAP Procedure:

Publishing of information brochure by state CET cell.
Filling an online application form by a candidate for participation in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP)
Document verification at the facilitation center by the candidate.
Publishing of provisional merit lists, submission of grievances, if any, and publishing of final merit list.
Display of available category-seat matrix for CAP Round I
Filling up and confirming of online option form having preferences of courses and institutions before CAP Round I. The option form once confirmed shall be considered for allotment in CAP Round I
Display of Provisional allotment of CAP Round I indicating allotted institute and course.
Reporting and confirmation of admission to the allotted institute by paying a fee and submitting original documents.
The students who have not confirmed the allotted seat in CAP round-I or have not received any allotment in CAP round-I –I are eligible for further CAP rounds.
The same process is applicable for CAP rounds II &III

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects or Computer science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business studies and obtained at least 45% marks (Open Category) and 40% marks in case of Backward categories, Economically weaker sections and Persons with Disability category candidates, in the above subjects taken together.
