Students are given the necessary training by USB so that they can be hired by the businesses they choose. The director of USAB conducts career counseling, which is another duty of the bureau to which the students are subjected. The University of Madras placement training focuses on developing soft skills to help students get work at reputable firms. The placement officials of the connected colleges are also trained by Madras University, and this is done in conjunction with those from the business world. Students who have registered for USAB will be employed temporarily by public and private institutions of higher learning.
