Infrastructure & Facilities:

The MGM Medical College & Hospital building is an architectural masterpiece. The MGM Medical College & Hospital has a  well-equipped 1,000-bed hospital. It has 82 intensive care beds, 13 futuristic operating rooms with modern technology, specialized outpatient consultation rooms, 3 CT scanners, 1 MRI machine, digital X-ray, digital mammography Digital, Ultrasound, Color Doppler, PACS, Systemic DSA, DR. systems, sophisticated laboratories, multi-organ transplant units, liver intensive care units, sophisticated tools for treatment management, and more. MGM MCH provides primary, secondary, and tertiary care as well as intensive care for critically ill patients.

Till today, the Department of Nephrology and Urology has performed more than 117 successful renal transplants. Surgery Dept. performed 3 Liver transplants till date. In total 2 corneal transplants and 10 bone marrow transplant has been done till today. The facilities for angiography, angioplasty, cardiovascular surgery, Interventional radiography, etc. are available in the Department of Cardiology, Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery & Radiology department. The Hospital is fully supported with facilities that it can provide medical care by 24x7 hrs. It is equipped with a central pathology laboratory with available monitoring and diagnostic facilities, a blood bank with a component facility, newly constructed Casualty Medical Services, and ambulance services which is operational 24 hours. Since 2014, ‘Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jeevandai Arogya Yojana with AA+ facilities, the health insurance scheme for poor and needy people has been implemented by the College along with the Government of Maharashtra.

Under Green environment practices viz. 6,00,000 liter water/day STP plant, 40,000 liter/day effluent treatment plant, rainwater harvesting system, and 5.6 megawatt solar panel have been installed.

Future plans: Advanced radiation center, Fetal medicine & diagnostics, geriatric medicine, emergency medicine facilities, etc. Central Research Laboratory facility: State of the art center for research laboratory equipped with advanced instruments & equipment is available.

In addition to formal courses and practical work, the university also attaches great importance to research and training activities. Several research proposals by faculty and students have been approved and funded by the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) and MGM UHS, Mumbai.

Central Library

MGM Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad, is NAAC accredited class 'A'. “CENTRAL LIBRARY” is fully automatic and uses library automation software “KOHA”. It is a cloud-based system. It completes the automation of library functions and services.  OPAC is an online directory of a book that can be searched by title, author, membership publication, etc. An OPAC terminal is available at the entrance to the publication counter. The Cental Library is fully air-conditioned with a floor area of 2400 m2. and will be archived with the latest version and more than 13105 textbooks, 9857 reference works 9736 titles, 630 manuscripts/dissertations, 4730 book banks, etc. Central library and faculty library a total collection of 29085 as of June 30, 2021 and 107 printed journals are available in the reference section, i.e. 65 international and 32 national journals are registered and have separate reading room UG and PG  and a magazine can also provide facilities for students Discussion room with presentation facilities with 16 students at a time and 5548 e-journals, 712 e-books is provided 24/7.

The electronic library section has an audio-visual room equipped with computers and headphones that can be used when playing various educational CDs/DVDs and updated YouTube lectures, etc digital library is part of the resource center, subscription to e-book portals e-magazines, e.g. DELNET, National Digital Library, ProQuest, MHUSE, up-to-date electronic database, collections of WHO from 1990 to 2021, and SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), available in the electronic library.

Hostels: 

Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College, Aurangabad has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The Hostel rooms are fully furnished and equipped with necessities such as mess, canteen, parking area etc.

Medical Service:
