Mahendra Institute Of Technology (MIT), Namakkal college library has a collection of books of various streams and subjects written by both Indian and foreign authors in different languages available to students on a returnable basis.

MIT’s faculty includes highly qualified and well-experienced teachers, both male and female, with a minimum qualification of a master’s degree. The institute has a faculty of a total of 216 members.

Mahendra Institute Of Technology (MIT), Namakkal has a spacious and airy Canteen. It provides a variety of wholesome, tasty snacks and food at a reasonable price. The Canteen also provides packaged snack items, bakery products, and soft drinks to the taste and requirements of not only the students but also the staff members.

Transports Facilities

Mahendra Institute Of Technology (MIT), Namakkal has buses that ply from places such as Erode, Attur, Salem, Kannankurichi, Komaramangalam, Konganapuram, Namakkal, Rasipuram, Tharamangalam, and other places. The buses ply to a radial distance of 50 km to help the students and staff to reach the College on time as well as to get dropped back at their places in the evening. Mahendra Educational Trust has around 150 buses and all these buses are used according to the needs and facilities of the students and the staff.

Hostel Facilities 

Mahendra Institute Of Technology (MIT), Namakkal Separate Hostel facilities are available for Boys and Girls. The Hostel provides accommodation for all the needy students. The rooms are furnished with a Table, Chair, Cot, and Fan. A Committee consisting of the following personnel manages the Hostel

The College has built a separate Hostel for Boys and Girls. More than 2000 Students are accommodated. The rooms are furnished for a single bed, double bed, three bed, or dormitory-type occupancy from economy to deluxe suite to make it affordable to every section of society. Each hostel room has common facilities for indoor games, reading rooms, audio, video, and medical facilities.
