Mangalore Institute of Fire & Safety Engineering is accoutered with all modern facilities, including a clean and hygiene food court and a well-developed sports ground with 400 mts athletic track, gymnasium, Hostel for both girls and boys. The infrastructure along with the ambrosial environment nourishes the young minds.

Residential Accommodations

Mangalore Institute of Fire & Safety Engineering Campus has a separate hostel section for girls and boys located within the premises under the management of Hostel Committee. The committee is headed by the Chief Warden, assisted by the two In-charge wardens, thereby looking after the day to day aspects of the hostel management. Each hostel has a Resident Warden who is responsible for the discipline, maintenance of building, allotment of rooms etc. The hostel staff consists of caretakers other attendants and maintenance staff.

Library

Mangalore Institute of Fire & Safety Engineering Library being the most important part of the education system is the hub of all the activities in the Campus. Much care is taken to provide the best of the best facilities in the library to motivate the students and the faculty members to make use of the facilities. Library consist of central library and departmental libraries which collectively support the educational needs of all the programmers. The Library and information center of the college has kept pace with emerging challenges, perhaps one of the best technical libraries in the state. The state of the art library stretches over 1050 square meters with the capacity to accommodate 400 students at a time and it is enabled with Wi-Fi technology and security systems with Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV).

Sports Facilities

The Mangalore Institute of Fire & Safety Engineering is the center for, sports, games, leisure activities, and for numerous aggressive programmers. There is a multipurpose playground on the campus for 400mtrs Athletic track, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Throwball , Basketball and Handball. Modern facilities for physical conditioning are available at the Indoor Gymnasium and Outdoor Gymnasium along with facilities for Table Tennis, Chess and Carom. Sahyadri students are able to participate regularly in games and sports activities throughout the year in State and Nation level competitions.
