Placement 

Maritime Foundation, Chennai often has a placement cell to assist students in securing job placements. This cell provides career counseling, conducts mock interviews, and arranges placement drives. The cell conducts training sessions, and workshops to prepare students for placement processes. These initiatives help students develop soft skills, communication abilities, and interview techniques, which are as crucial as technical knowledge in securing a job.

WORKSHOP BLOCK 1 AND BLOCK 2

There is no substitute for hands-on experience. We strongly believe that the students should be exposed to real marine equipment and should get an opportunity to get to know the “inside” of this equipment. The MARINE LAB has a wide of collection of shipboard equipment and the faculty ensures that the students get the “feel” of working with these machines.

The MARINE WORKSHOP is equipped with WELDING STATIONS, GAS CUTTING EQUIPMENT, FABRICATION, BENCH FITTING and LATHE MACHINES. The facility has more than adequate numbers of this equipment to ensure that the students have ready access and maximize usage. The modern seafarer has to be a “Jack Of All Trades”. To hone up the carpentry and plumbing skills, the facility is equipped with a CARPENTRY AND PLUMBING SHOP.
