The upcoming new technology block, spanning four stories, is on the brink of becoming operational. This block, housing fully furnished laboratories, lecture halls, classrooms, and faculty quarters, is nearing completion. Professor Yogesh Tyagi, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delhi, inaugurated the foundation stone of the forthcoming hostel. This new residential building is set to accommodate ninety-four students across four stories. It will encompass various amenities, including study rooms, a gymnasium, communal spaces for leisure activities, a recreation room, dining facilities, a kitchen, and the warden’s quarters. Allocation of rooms will be based on merit and proximity to the college, catering to both national and international students. The college has a dedicated building committee overseeing infrastructure maintenance, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment on campus. The maintenance of the campus' Wi-Fi infrastructure is managed by the Delhi University Computer Center, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity.
Maitreyi College University Of Delhi library, occupying a two-story complex adjacent to the main building, serves as a focal point for academic resources. It is designed to meet the educational and research requirements of users. With a seating capacity exceeding one hundred fifty users, the library boasts a collection of over 99,000 books, including subscriptions to numerous print journals, periodicals, national and international magazines, and 23 prominent national newspapers.
There are fifteen well-equipped laboratories on the campus, facilitating practical work in subjects such as Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science.
Maitreyi College University Of Delhi Supervised by a canteen committee, which includes both instructors and the Students Union, the college canteen is managed by a contractor. Serving as a comfortable space for students to eat and socialize, it offers a pleasant environment for students to convene and dine.
