In order to provide our students with a suitable learning environment, MGM Medical College has dedicated and well-equipped classrooms that can accommodate over 200 students in larger classes and 40 students in smaller classes. Classroom walls are designed to block out noise from adjacent rooms. The classrooms are well-ventilated, furnished, and equipped with ceiling-mounted LCD projectors, speech reinforcement devices with whiteboards, white screens, and adequately spaced seating. The larger classrooms are air-conditioned to enable interactive teaching and learning. We have university libraries and a shared conference/seminar room for presentations.
The college has its own fleet of buses serving all areas of Navi Mumbai and Panvel for faculty, students, and staff. The college has enough buses that students and researchers can take to various points in the city. All students must use college transport or stay in a dormitory. Thanks to this solution, it was possible to start classes on time, which favors the academic process. Our bus facilities have allowed us to maintain discipline among students.
MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai has separate residences for boys and girls, each equipped with all modern facilities for accommodation and other leisure activities. The halls of residence have their own canteen, which provides the students with good and hygienic food. Hostel accommodation is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The MGMIHS Central Medical Library was designated as one of the reference libraries for WHO publications on 25 April 2013 by WHO Press (WHP), the World Health Organization (WHO) based in Geneva, Switzerland.
The library is open from 08:00. Monday to Saturday at 10 p.m. The departure time on weekdays is 08:30.to 7:00 p.m. Photocopy service is available from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for one week. On Sundays and public holidays, the reading room is only available to library users from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The library is closed on public holidays and some local holidays.
