MIET, Meerut Admission

In 1997, the Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology was founded. Nestled among the best engineering institutions in Uttar Pradesh, this UGC and AICTE-approved institution is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University. Its NAAC certification is 'B++,' and two of its courses hold NBA recognition. 

Dataquest ranked MIET as the 83rd best engineering college, while Outlook India listed it as the 69th best. The college regularly hosts free programs to improve corporate skills, demonstrating its strong emphasis on skill-building. 

Eight specializations are available through MIET under the B. Tech, four under the M. Tech, and four under the vocational courses. Additionally, it provides courses for B. Pharm, M. Pharm, MBA, MCA, and Applied Science Engineering. 

A candidate must have taken the JEE-Main for selection and completed the 10+2 PCM exam with 60% of the possible points in order to apply for a B. Tech. A candidate must hold a B. Tech degree in the relevant field in order to apply for an M. Tech. An M. Sc. degree is also acceptable in some situations. They must also take the GATE in order to be selected. 

An applicant for an MBA must have strong scores on the CAT or MAT in addition to 50% on their graduation exam. 50% of graduation marks and mathematics as a required subject are required for MCA admission.

MIET M. Tech Admission 2024

MIET offers four specializations under the M. Tech course. Interested candidates should have a B. Tech degree in the relevant field with 50% marks, or an M. Sc degree in Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Application. For selection, taking the GATE is a must. 

MIET B. Pharm Admission 2024

For admission to B. Pharm, a candidate has to pass 10+2 in the Science stream with 60% marks. Admissions are done via UPTAC Counselling.

MIET M. Pharm Admission 2024

There are three branches under the M. Pharm course at MIET. For admission to M. Pharm, a candidate must have a B. Pharm degree with 50% marks. For selection, a valid GPAT scorecard is necessary.

MIET MBA Admission 2024

Graduates with 50% marks can apply to MIET for the MBA course. They will be selected on the basis of their performance in the CAT or MAT. 

Eligibility and selection criteria: 

Candidates can have a Bachelor’s degree in any field. 

The candidate should score at least 50% marks. 

The candidate should have taken the CAT or the MAT. 

MIET MCA Admission 2024

Students who have a graduate degree in any field can apply for MCA, provided they have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level. For selection, they have to take the CUET PG.

Eligibility and selection criteria:

The candidate should have scored 50% marks 

At the 10+2 level, the candidate must have studied mathematics

MIET B. Voc Admission 2024

For admission to B.Voc, a candidate should have completed 10+2 with 50% marks in the Science stream. Entrance is merit-based. MIET offers four specializations under the B. Voc course.
