The establishment of Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal in 1958 is the result of the visionary power of the great educationalist and social worker Late. Shri. Vinayakrao Patil and Late.Shri. Dadasaheb Sawant. The Mandal now has 14 Degree Colleges, 2 Law and 1 Pharmacy Colleges, 2 Polytechnics, 2 Engineering Colleges, 1 B.Ed. Besides the college, the area has about 56 high schools, 37 junior colleges, 13 primary schools, and 6 English medium schools and provides value-based education to the students. In the developing city of Aurangabad, there was a need for more colleges in the CIDCO area. Keeping in view the growing needs and convenience of the students, Mandal opened a new college in CIDCO area N-3 in 2001 with well-developed facilities. It is aptly named Shivchhatrapati College. It provides education in junior, senior, and postgraduate sections. The college is constantly working on the principle of "self-financing" and is making slow but steady progress. This institution achieved remarkable success within a few years of its establishment. The Institute has received an NAAC Accreditation Grade 'B' CGPA of 2.39 as of 02.11.2018. The institution has earned its merits in the Marathwada region. The college is proud of its good students who have passed the university examinations. In the junior section, subjects such as Pali, Music, Sanskrit, Information Technology, Computing, Electronics, Geography and Home Studies. Students are toppers in CET and AIEEE exams. An insight into the new challenges of information technology, courses like Bachelor of Computer Science (B.Sc.(CS)), B.C.A., B.B.A. and B.Sc (Biotechnology) U.G. .M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Microbiology and M.Com. presenting P.G.
