The Placement Cell offers a wide range of programs and resources to the students of MVR College of Engineering & Technology.

Mission of the Placement Cell:
- Educate students and empower them to become active participants in their career planning and job search.
- Facilitate the exploration, clarification, and implementation of students' academic, personal, and career goals.
- Charge graduates to continue contributing to society and the world at large, integrating their values and ethics into chosen careers.
MVR Placement Cell concentrates on career exploration, self-assessment, long-term career planning, and developing networking skills, in addition to job search strategies for the short-term. Along with an intense focus on students’ success, the Placement Cell is committed to creating and maintaining positive relationships with corporate employers. MVR- TPC team manages active relationships with companies that recruit students, working to ensure that the recruiting process is smooth, hassle-free, and rewarding. In concert with administration, faculty-corporate relations, and students, the TPC works continually to bring new companies on-Grounds and to expand existing relationships. The TPC also maintains an intranet that facilitates many technical aspects of the job search, allowing students to manage their search electronically from computers on-Grounds or online. Using the TPC site, students can research companies and contacts, search for employment opportunities, apply for jobs, sign up for company presentations, schedule on-Campus interviews, and much more.

Students who use T&P Cell services are responsible for:
- Taking advantage of the career resources offered by the T&P Cell and the college.
- Independently developing and obtaining feedback on a career plan consisting of networking and interview strategies for implementation during the course of the academic program.
- Representing MVR professionally and honorably in all interactions with the business community.
- Keeping T&P Cell informed of concerns and issues and reporting placement plans/status throughout the academic year and upon graduation from the college.

Placement Procedures
- Campus recruitment for final year students starts from Dec onwards every year. Recruitment after passing out of the campus will also be done depending on the availability of non-placed students.
- Interested recruiters are requested to mail the following details to [email protected]:
- Job Profile
- Job Location
- Training Period
- CTC during & after Training
- Designation before & after Training
- Service agreement if any – No. of years & Bond amount if any.
- Degrees & Branches required
- Eligibility Criteria – Marks ( X / XII/dip / Current degree/UG for PG) and Arrear Status.
- Selection Process- Test (Online / Not)/GD/Interview
- Facilities Required for campus recruitment
- Preferred dates to visit
- NB: Placement with Paid Training by students and consulting fee attached placements are not allowed.
- Based on the above data, students will register at Placement Centre. No. of interested students will be informed to the recruiting company.
- Based on the number of interested students, the company can fix the venue either at college or at their office. Resumes of the interested students can also be sent to the company for shortlisting at their end. If the policy of the company is to conduct a pooled campus drive for colleges, we are ready to conduct here in our campus.
- List of Selected candidates and offer letters shall be given to the Placement Officer at the end of the process. If there is any delay in the announcement of results, students will be permitted to attend the next company. If the students get placement in the next company, they will not be permitted to get the offer from the previous company if they get selected.
- The recruiters are requested to give feedback on the quality of the students at the end of the selection process and also after the training period. This will help us to improve continuously and offer better numbers than the previous year.
