NMIMS Admission to the majority of courses is dependent on the university's entrance exams, as well as previous academic achievements and successes in sports and the arts. Admission to NMIMS BBA, B.Sc, B.Com, and BA (Hons) programs is based on the NMIMS-NPAT.
NMIMS LAT, CLAT, or LSAT scores are accepted for BA LL.B B.(Hons) and BBA LL.B B.(Hons).
Candidates must have a valid NATA score to be admitted to the B.Arch program.

NMIMS Mumbai's main program is the Master of Business Administration (MBA), which offers specializations in Pharmaceutical Management, Human Resource Management, General, Family Management Business & Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship, Real Estate, and Digital Transformation. NMIMS admits MBA students based on the NMAT, which is followed by case discussions and a personal interview. Past academic records, appropriate work experience, and similar inputs are also considered in the final selection of candidates. The NMAT cutoff range for NMIMS MBA admission is between 196-236. Only the first-round scores for NMIMS MBA Admission 2023 will be considered while shortlisting for the CD-PI round.

NMIMS Mumbai offers a two-year full-time MBA program as its flagship course. The university offers the MBA program in various other specializations such as Human Resources, Business Analytics, Digital Transformation, and Pharmaceutical Management apart from the general MBA. Admission to MBA at NMIMS is based on NMAT, Group Discussion, and a Personal Interview.
NMIMS Mumbai MBA Selection Criteria 2024
The candidates will be selected for the MBA program at NMIMS Mumbai based on the following criteria:
Step 1: The candidates will have to appear for the NMAT by GMAC for admission into the MBA program. The scores for the NMAT will be submitted by GMAC electronically to NMIMS.
Step 2: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the NMAT sectional and overall score and will be called for the Psychometric test or Written Analytic test (WAT) and Personal Interview.
Step 3: Final merit list will be prepared in terms of academic marks obtained, work experience, marks obtained in NMAT by GMAC, and marks obtained in the second stage of the selection process.
The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Written Test and the Personal Interview.
Candidates need to score 50% Marks in the Written Test to proceed to the Interview Round.
Candidates selected after the second round are offered admission subject to the availability of seats.
Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE / Teacher Fellowship examination of the apex bodies in higher/technical professional education or other equivalent examination over a period of the last 3 years are exempted from NMIMS entrance test, but they have to appear for Personal Interview.
