Library

National Institute Of Hotel Management & Tourism library with the latest books, journals, and magazines both national and international covering all aspects of the Hotel industry, Tourism industry, Hospitality sector, Travel, and General Management. The library also has an excellent collection of videotapes on different aspects of the management and hospitality industry. The library has multi-media resources to enable students to view these videos and learn the best practices from them. Constant replenishment is done on these resources regularly. The library also includes a reference collection that consists of encyclopedias, dictionaries, classics of world literature, and varied subjects. NIHMT boasts one of the best collections of books and journals of hotels in the region.

Sports

The National Institute Of Hotel Management & Tourism has sports facilities for all students. Fitness freaks can find solace in cricket, football, volleyball, and badminton popular sports. NIHMT organizes Vintage Sports every year.

Laboratories

Seminars hall

All seminars are interactive and take one full day. In a relaxed atmosphere, all participants are part of the presentation and are challenged to express themselves. The goal of the seminar is to instill enthusiasm into the participants, to improve communication, to develop teamwork, provoke the right mindset, to give them confidence, to stimulate them, and to give them a different view on the job they do. Classrooms

Transport Facility

Transport facility is provided to students, faculties, and staff residing in the Bhubaneswar region. The institute has its fleet of buses which not only take care of daily transport but also are used for students’ outings like NSS Programmes, entertainment, study tours, industrial visits, etc.

Hostel

Two separate hostels for boys with a well-equipped mess create a very healthy ambiance for ‘mess table’ interactions of the students and facilitate group interaction beyond classroom learning. However, the hostel facility is not available to all students due to limited capacity. Rented premises are being used for both girl's and boys' hostels at Bhubaneswar.
