National Museum Institute Of History Of Art, Conservation And Musicology, National Museum Admission  2024-25

Admission to MA  programs at the National Museum Institute is determined by candidates' performance in a one-hour written test, followed by an interview. The Assistant Registrar (Academic) manages all admission procedures. Shortlisting for the written test is based on the received applications. Reserved seats include 22.5% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates (15% for SC and 7.5% for ST), 27% for OBC (NCL), and 3% for Differently Abled candidates.

  1. For MA Admission in 2024, the National Museum Institute offers various disciplines for a two-year duration. Applicants must possess a Graduate Degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. In-service personnel with at least 5 years of regular service in Central Government/State Government/Autonomous organizations/Universities funded by Central or State Government/NGOs are also eligible.
  2. Admission to MA courses involves a written test followed by an interview, conducted by a joint Selection Committee after evaluating answer books.
