The National Sports University, Manipur (NSU) provides academic programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with plans for introducing doctoral programs in the future.

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Admission at NSU:

Applicants must have completed the 12th standard or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government, securing a minimum of 45% marks. Candidates should have actively participated in state-level, regional, or zonal-level competitions organized by entities such as the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), State Associations, or National Sports Federations acknowledged by the Indian Olympic Association, specifically in the sports disciplines offered by NSU.

Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Admission at NSU:

1. Candidates must possess an Undergraduate degree along with a PG Diploma/Diploma in Sports Coaching, or B.P.Ed. / B.P.E.S. / B.A in Psychology/ B.Sc. (SC) (3 Years) with PG Diploma/ Diploma in Sports Coaching, or B.Sc. (SC) (4 Years) or an equivalent qualification.
2. Applicants should have actively participated in sports at the National or All India University level.
3. The university also facilitates direct admission for candidates who have demonstrated exceptional performance in sports at both state and national levels.
4. The admission application is accessible on the university’s official website, and candidates are required to apply online for the National Sports University Entrance Examination (NSUEE). The application process is exclusively conducted in "ONLINE" mode. Admission decisions are determined by the merit generated through the university's evaluation of marks obtained in the entrance examination.

Application Process at National Sports University, Manipur (NSU):

1. Register online using your email ID and mobile number. The NSUEE admit card will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
2. Carefully complete the online application form, attaching clear scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph and signature.
3. Upload all necessary documents related to educational qualifications, domicile certificates, reservation certificates, and sports qualifications (if applicable).
4. After successfully uploading the documents, candidates are required to pay the entrance examination fee through online mode.
