The National University of Advanced Legal Studies, located in Kochi, is a multidisciplinary institution providing a diverse range of legal education programs at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  The academic offerings include BA LLB, LLM, PG Diploma, and Ph.D. degrees.

The BA LLB program spans five years and falls under the undergraduate education category, while the LLM program is a one-year postgraduate course. The LLM curriculum includes two distinct specializations.

Prospective BA LLB students must complete the 10+2 examinations with a minimum passing grade. Candidates need an undergraduate degree in the relevant field for admission to the LLM program.

Admissions to NUALS are exclusively based on entrance examinations. The scores obtained in CLAT (Centralized Examination in Law) determine the selection for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Kerala residents are guaranteed a minimum average of 49 in all classes for eligibility.
