Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for candidates from backward class categories within Maharashtra State) in any Bachelor's degree program with a duration of at least three years, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. Additionally, candidates should have appeared for the final year examination of the bachelor's degrees.
Candidates should have completed any bachelor's degree program with a duration of at least three years, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, and also completed any Post Graduate degree program with a duration of at least two years, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for candidates from backward class categories within Maharashtra State).

Admissions are currently open at Mumbai University for MMS and MCA courses for the academic year 2018-19. Admission to the MMS course relies on the marks obtained by students in the qualifying exam cum merit. For Integrated M.Sc. programs, admissions are conducted through the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST), while for the MMS Programme, the MAH-CET score is taken into consideration.
Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the State CET CELL, Maharashtra: This process is managed centrally by the State CET CELL and involves the allocation of seats based on the candidate's performance in the entrance examination and other eligibility criteria.
Institute-level Seats: After the CAP rounds are completed, any remaining vacant seats are filled by the institute based on its selection criteria. These seats are allocated directly by the institute to eligible candidates.
