NCET, Kanpur Technology, computer applications, and administration are among the fields in which Naraina College of Engineering and Technology provides instruction. At the undergraduate and graduate levels, respectively, the courses are provided as Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Master of Technology (M.Tech). The college also offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes at the postgraduate level.

B. Tech Admission 2023

• At the undergraduate level, Naraina College of Engineering and Technology (NCET) offers a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) programmes in various specializations for a duration period of four years.
• Admissions are mainly based on marks obtained in the UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).
• Candidates may also appear in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Key Points:

• A 5% relaxation of marks in eligibility criteria is given to candidates belonging to the SC /ST category.
• 75% of the seats are filled by the University through UPSEE & 10% through JEE Main Counselling depending on the rank obtained by the student.
• The remaining 15% of seats (Management Quota) are filled by the colleges through Direct admissions as per AKTU (Formerly UPTU) guidelines.

NCET Kanpur M. Tech Admission 2023

At the postgraduate level, the college offers a Master of Technology (M. Tech) programmes in four specializations for a duration period of two years.

Applicants to the M. Tech programmes must have completed their graduation from the BE or B. Tech degree. However, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is used to determine admission. The college will not consider individuals who do not meet the qualifying requirements for admission.

NCET Kanpur MBA & MCA Admission 2023

Naraina College of Engineering and Technology also offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes in addition to the previously listed ones. The duration of the MCA programmes is three years, whilst the MBA programmes are available for two years.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) administers the UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination), which is the entrance exam used for admission to the aforementioned courses. The final merit list is created taking into account the scores from both the prior qualifying exam and the entrance exam.

Important Points:

• The minimum mark required in the qualifying examination for both the MBA and MCA programmes is 50%.
• 5% marks relaxation in the eligibility criteria is given to the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories.
• 85% of seats are allotted according to the merit of the State Entrance Examination (SEE) of UP State through counseling as per the directives of AICTE, state government, and affiliating universities.
• 15% of total seats are filled based on management quota admission procedure directly by the college as per the guidelines of the affiliating university.
• For admission to the MBA programmes, preferences shall be given to the candidates having a valid CAT/MAT score.
