At NGI a multitude of budding technocrats can study in 460 classrooms at any point in time. All classrooms of NGI campuses are spacious and have been designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented with integrated audio-visual teaching aids for lectures and presentations and most of them are amphitheater style with air-conditioned.
(NGI), Coimbatore Library is the soul of any institution. It is a center for acquiring, processing, preserving, and disseminating information to the user community with the motto of empowering knowledge. NGI boasts of P K Das Knowledge Fort, the Central Library which caters to over 9000 students and 450 faculties. The central library is one of the best academic libraries in this part of the country in terms of its size, Architecture, Resources, and ICT-enabled services. The library is situated in the middle of our T.M. Palayam campus having a built-up area of 30000 sq. ft. The library is well-equipped with unique features and world-class infrastructure to support and encourage scholarly communication and professional development. The library has over a lakh collections of books and journals on a variety of subjects some of which are rare and valuable. Meticulous care is taken to develop resources for various disciplines that add value to the teaching and learning process. Apart from the central library, NGI provides separate libraries for each college. It has spread over to an area of more than 2 Lakhs Sq.ft having more than 3 Lakhs volume of books. Each library has retained specialized collections of Books, national and international journals & other resources in Medical Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Biotechnology, Humanities, Social Sciences, Management, Information Technology, Legal Studies, Aeronautics, and Pharmacy ranging from printed books, e-books, back volumes, CDs\ DVDs, and they subscribe to national and international e-Journals.
To achieve a healthier lifestyle while coping with the pressures of studying, one needs to be healthy both emotionally and physically. As a part of this process, NGI emphasizes the importance of sports, Gym, Yoga, Air Rifle Academy, etc.. and considers them as an integral part of the curriculum. NGI has a number of centers for physical education and sports activities that help the students maintain fitness and develop a competitive spirit. Our numerous outdoor playgrounds and indoor courts facilitate the student's needs.
