• For Bachelor's Degree Programs (BDP), candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board of education.
• The minimum required eligibility for B.Lib.I.Sc is the candidates should possess a graduate degree with a minimum of 40% marks.
• In the case of PG admission, candidates must have passed a graduate degree in the relevant discipline.
• Admission for all the UG and PG courses (except B.Spl.Ed.) is given on first cum first-serve basis.

At the undergraduate level, Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) offers BA and B.Sc under multiple specializations. In addition to it, the university also offers B.Com. course. The minimum required eligibility for admission to UG courses offered by the university is candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board of education. The selection under all the bachelor’s programs will be done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate at the intermediate level.
NSOU offers PG programs – MA, M.Com., M.Sc., M.Lib.I.Sc., B.Lib.I.Sc. in different disciplines. The minimum eligibility for any of the postgraduate courses is a graduation degree in the relevant stream. The selection will be done on the basis of merit. The application fee needs to be paid by the candidates at any branch of Allahabad Bank.
The university offers a Bachelor of special education program in 3 disciplines – Mental Retardation, Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment. A candidate can have a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in the related field to apply for this program with % aggregate marks. Admission to this program is based on candidates’ scores in the entrance exam conducted by the university.
