The foundation stone of the NIPER library was laid on July 24, 1992, and by 1995, the library commenced its operations. The NIPER library was established to eventually achieve the status of the National Library and Information Centre in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The library is open to pharmacy professionals both nationally and internationally, providing information to academics, researchers, and industry personnel. It houses a specialized collection of books covering pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutical market reports, theses and dissertations, newspapers, and more. Additionally, the library subscribes to global and national journals in the field of pharmaceutical and allied sciences to support research scholars.
The central instrumentation laboratories are equipped with essential instruments.
