Facilities and Infrastructure

Nrupathunga University is equipped with contemporary amenities to enhance the learning experience. These include well-ventilated classrooms, hostel facilities, well-stocked libraries, indoor and outdoor sports areas, and seamless internet connectivity. Additionally, medical facilities are available on campus, and deserving students have the opportunity to apply for scholarships. The university is dedicated to providing top-notch education, featuring excellent faculty members, well-equipped laboratories, and a conducive ambiance. While there are limited reserved seats, the overall educational experience at the college is exceptional.

Residential Accommodation:

For male students, the university provides on-campus hostel facilities. Female students are accommodated in three nearby Government College Hostels. Moreover, students associated with the institution can also reside in more than 25 community hostels situated across the city.

Library:

The Nrupathunga University boasts a central library with an extensive collection of 11,046 books and 56 journals. The spacious library hall creates an ideal environment for learning. Additionally, the college offers a book bank facility, providing books to deserving students at no cost. The library is equipped with computers and internet facilities, emphasizing the importance of library services. It utilizes E-Granthalaya, a library management software package from the National Informatics Centre, Government of India. To meet modern expectations, the library houses 30 computers for internet browsing, e-learning programs, and access to full-text e-resources.

Auditorium:

Nrupathunga University auditorium serves as a common platform for fostering values and creating a positive ethos. It facilitates gatherings for both the faculty and student community, fostering unity and providing a space for various activities. Daily assemblies, mandatory for all students, provide opportunities to discuss contemporary issues, prominent personalities, and character-building exercises.

Sports Facilities:

Nrupathunga University offers indoor and outdoor sports facilities for a wide range of games, with students having represented the university at various levels, including state and national events.  Additionally, a well-equipped gym with 12 stations is available for fitness enthusiasts. The university organizes an Annual Sports Meet during the entire semester to recognize and encourage students to excel in sports. Interclass sports events such as Chess, Kabaddi, Cricket, Throwball, Volleyball, and Badminton are held annually, promoting a culture of sportsmanship and physical well-being.
