Panjab University, Chandigarh Admission Open 2024-25 - Application Dates, Selection Process

Panjab University Admission 2023-24

Panjab University admission 2023 is ongoing for all UG and PG programs. Candidates who have applied for admission are required to submit the admission form from June 26 to July 10, 2023. PUCET PG 2023 answer keys have been released and the last date to raise objections is June 24, 2023. Also, the PULLB and PUTHAT 2023 entrance test result has been announced. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can check their results through the official website – puchd.ac.in. Further, applications for PU B.Ed admission 2023 are open and the last date to apply is July 03. PU B.Ed entrance test will be held on July 23, 2023.

Panjab University admissions are done through an entrance test conducted by the university. The university conducts various entrance tests such as PU CET UG, PUCET PG, PU MET, PU LAW, PUTHAT, PULEET, MBAUSOL, PU MPhil, and PhD Entrance Tests for admission to its UG, PG, and doctoral-level courses. Panjab University offers multiple UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs in the streams of Arts, Business Management and Commerce, Design and fine Arts, Education, Engineering and Technology, Languages, Law, Medical Sciences, and Science.

Some of the popular courses at Panjab University are BE/BTech, MBA, B.Sc, and LLB. Admission to BE/BTech is done through JEE Main examination followed by counseling. While MBA, B.Sc, and LLB admissions are based on an entrance test conducted by the university. Panjab University also accepts national-level entrance tests such as NEET UG, NEET PG, NEET MDS, GPAT, etc. for admission to various courses.

Apart from regular UG, PG, and Doctoral courses, the university provides PG Diploma, Diploma, Advance Diploma, and Certificate courses. For these Diploma and Certificate courses, students are required to complete intermediate level and for PG Diploma, applicants must have a graduation degree in relevant fields. Admission will be granted on the merit of the last qualifying examination.

At the UG program, the university provides various courses with multiple disciplines. All the courses are full-time and campus-based. Regular courses like B.A., and B.Sc are provided in Hons. and General both. Students are required to qualify 10+2 level or equivalent degree in relevant subjects with a minimum number of percentages from a recognized board. Panjab University UG Eligibility Criteria

1. To be eligible for B.E courses, students must pass the 10+2 level with PCM subjects combination from a recognized board.

2. To be eligible for B.Ed, BCA, BBA, B.Sc, B.P.Ed, B. A + B.Ed and BHMCT, students need to qualify 10+2 level with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

3. For B.Ed and LLB, students must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.

Panjab University UG Selection Process

1. For admission to B.E., candidates need to obtain a qualified score in JEE Main.

2. For B.Ed, B.Com, B.P.Ed, B. A B.Ed, B.Com LLB, students need to go through an entrance test or aptitude test conducted by the university.

3. For B.Sc and B.Pharma, students must have a valid score in PU-CET (UG).

3. For LLB and BHMCT applicants should have qualified scores in PU LLB and PUTHAT.

Panjab University PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, Certificate Admission 2023

Panjab University offers PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, and Certification courses along with regular courses. All these courses are provided in a handful of specializations. These courses are campus-based and in full-time mode. For the PG Diploma students must pass graduation in any from a recognized university and for the Advanced Diploma, candidates must have done a Diploma course in related fields. To be eligible for a Diploma or Certificate course students are required to complete the 10+2 level. Admission to any of these courses is merit-based. A few specializations are given below:
