Periyar University Admission 

Application Process

• Candidates need to fill out an online application form by visiting the official website of Periyar University.
• The online application form should be filled out properly. 
• Candidates must send the online application form printout (hard copy) along with self-attested copies of the marks statement, Community certificate, Transfer Certificate (SSLC, HSC, and UG), of the qualifying examination and a self–addressed stamped envelope (28cm x 13cm) for Rs.10 should be sent to the respective head of the department, Periyar University.
• Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from a university other than Periyar University should obtain an eligibility certificate from Periyar University Salem.
• Candidates should pay the application fee along with the submission of the Periyar University application form.
• Candidates will be informed about the entrance exam date through mail/SMS and the same shall be posted on the official website of the university- www.periyaruniversity.ac.in. 
• Candidates can download the hall ticket from the university website.

Admission Process - UG Programmes

• Students need to meet the eligibility criteria before applying for admission at Periyar University.
• Eligible students need to fill Periyar University online application form.
• There is an entrance test for Periyar University UG admissions. Therefore, students must sit for the entrance test conducted by the respective department of the university.
• The final selection will take place based on the performance of candidates in the entrance exam, complete document verification, and payment of the fees.

PG Admission Process

• Aspirants must fulfill the eligibility criteria of a particular course they want admission to at Periyar University.
• After meeting the eligibility criteria, aspirants must fill out the application form by visiting the official website of Periyar University.
• Aspirants need to appear for an entrance examination conducted by the respective university departments.
• Students will be selected based on their merit in the qualifying examination and entrance test scores.
• Lastly, they must verify their documents and pay the complete course fees for final Periyar University admissions.
