Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) provides an opportunity for the students and the recruiting company to interact with each other. Every year, a placement fair is organized by the Group where companies give their presentations regarding the history, growth, future opportunities, and jobs available for the students (content, compensation package, location, etc.). PPT also provides a company with the opportunity to recruit first-year students for summer training assignments.
•Soft skills are a combination of people skills, social skills, communication skills, character or personality traits, attitudes, career attributes, social intelligence, and emotional intelligence quotients, among others, that enable people to navigate their environment, work well with others, perform well, and achieve their goals with complementing hard skills. Soft skills are a cluster of productive personality traits that characterize one's relationships in a milieu.
•These skills can include social graces, communication abilities, language skills, personal habits, cognitive or emotional empathy, time management, teamwork, and leadership traits.
•Communication skills are arguably the most important soft skills for an employee. The ability to communicate through the spoken and written word is a necessity in nearly every industry and every workplace. Communication skills can be learned and improved with the right training.
•To develop the soft skills of the students, we have developed a mentorship program. This mentorship program at KCMT Campus 2 provides individual attention to every student to facilitate holistic development and nurture an individual’s soft skills. Each student is adopted by a trained faculty member who is responsible for the soft skills and overall betterment of the student.
