Residential Accommodations:

At PEC, Chandigarh, the Department of Student Affairs (DSA) oversees the residential aspects of all college students, working in collaboration with the Associate Dean of Student Affairs-I.  The Associate Dean of Student Affairs is responsible for managing all hostel organizations, with support from the Chief Warden/Warden of each hostel and student representatives.  The maintenance and administration of men's and women's hostels are supervised by the Chief Warden and wardens. Hostel accommodations are allocated based on room availability.

Library:

The library at PEC, Chandigarh, caters to approximately 3000 users, including undergraduate, postgraduate students, and research scholars from various engineering branches, faculty, staff, and retired faculty members.  Spanning 27,000 square feet, the library consists of interconnected buildings—the Old Block and the New Block, an expansive extension with three floors and central air-conditioning.  It is segmented into sections such as Circular, Periodical, Reference, Multimedia, Newspaper/Magazine, Technical, BookBank (General and e-book bank SC/ST), and Binding. The library is affiliated with the INDEST-AICTE Consortium since 2003 and the UGC-Infonet Consortium since 2011. Following an Expert Committee recommendation, the MHRD has established E-ShodhSindhu, amalgamating three consortia initiatives: UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium, NLIST, and INDEST-AICTE Consortium. 

Computer Labs:

The computer facilities at PEC, Chandigarh, feature a Controller-Based Wireless Network with over 300 access points, ensuring seamless internet connectivity throughout the campus.  The Computer Centre houses servers for email and web application hosting, conducting labs for Network/IoT-related courses, and facilitating practical knowledge in IoT, Networking, Programming, and Artificial Intelligence.  Additionally, there are two 100-terminal cluster labs available for student projects, programming assignments, M.Tech & Ph.D. thesis work, and online placement tests.

Medical Facilities:

The medical dispensary at PEC, Chandigarh, provides free first aid and routine medical services to students. Consultations are also extended to faculty and staff. The dispensary is staffed by a senior medical officer, a pharmacist, a nursing orderly, and a ward boy to attend to the healthcare needs of students, faculty, and staff.

Sports Facilities:

The Physical Education & Sports Department at PEC, Chandigarh, boasts numerous playgrounds and well-maintained athletic tracks to encourage student participation in various sports, including Cricket, Hockey, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, and Badminton.  The institute also features a Gymnasium-cum-Badminton Hall and a Swimming Pool Complex equipped with modern facilities.
