ADMISSION PROCEDURE

•Admission into UG and PG programmes of the Institution is based on State level Common entrance test conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

•Admission of the students into the Undergraduate Engineering programme of the institution is based on the Level Common Entrance Test i.e., EAMCET / ECET, conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

•Admission of the students into MBA courses is based on the state-level common Entrance test, ICET, conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

•Admission of the students into M. The tech programme is based on PGECET conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the India GATE exam.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for admission into UG & PG programmes are as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.

Categories Category - A

For both U.G and P.G Programs, 70% of the seats will be allocated based on the common entrance test i.e., EAMCET/ICET/PGECET conducted by Government of Andhra Pradesh and GATE Rank based for M.Tech. Admission.

Category - B

30% of the seats are filled under the Management / NRI category as per the norms/regulations prescribed by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

Lateral Entry Programmes

10% of the Actual Intake and Vacancy Seats of Convener Quota in the Previous Year (If any) seats are filled under the Lateral Entry based on the common entrance test i.e., ECET conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

PVPSIT Important Dates

Candidates appearing for the B. Tech programme need to qualify for the AP EAMCET and AP ECET exams, respectively. The candidates appearing for the M. Tech programme need to qualify for the AP PGECET or GATE exams whereas those appearing for the MBA programme need to qualify for the AP ICET exam.
