Queen Mary's College initiated hostel facilities back in 1951, expanding in response to the growing student population. In 1974, a new construction was erected to accommodate 250 students, prioritizing health, hygiene, and cost-effectiveness. By subscribing to UGC INFLIBNET (Information Library Network) N-List, Queen Mary's College grants access to 75,000 e-books and 3,500 e-journals. N-List significantly enriches e-learning for students and faculty members, allowing access to full-text journal articles and archives across various disciplines. Queen Mary's College offers comprehensive medical services for all students, including those residing in hostels. Regular health check-ups encompass blood pressure monitoring, gynecological consultations for teaching and non-teaching staff, body mass index (BMI) camps, and health awareness camps in collaboration with YRC groups.
Spanning over 39,648 square meters, Queen Mary's College boasts a vast sports area hosting nearly thirteen teams participating in various sports. These include Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Ball Badminton, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Hockey, Table Tennis, Badminton, Athletics, Carom, and Chess, engaging in intercollegiate, District, State, and National level tournaments.
Consistently producing state, national, and university-level players annually, the College Kabaddi team has consistently secured top positions in intercollegiate District and State-level tournaments for the past seven years. Specialized training sessions are conducted for students in Yoga, Gymnastics, and Silambam.
