Internship Opportunities: There are many internships offered to the students last year. Students have a lot of opportunities and students get to choose where to apply for and which one suits us the most. It helps in gaining a lot of experience and developing skills which are important for us.
Placements:
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Management and Science Placement Companies visited the department for making their pre-placement presentation, to generate a large number of applications from the candidates.
1. Resumes of the interested candidates are forwarded to the organization.
2. After receiving the resumes, the organization short-lists candidates and communicates the list to the placement office.
3. Organisation gives a convenient date for the conduct of activities relating to the selection process.
4. The organization’s representatives visit the department for interviewing shortlisted candidates.
5. Organizations are requested to specify the terms and conditions that are discussed and agreed upon during the interview along with the list of selected candidates for the placement in charge.
6. Organizations make their final job offer to select candidates immediately after the interview or at the earliest.
7. Companies desirous of holding off-campus interviews for short-listed candidates can do so, after providing the necessary information to the placement in charge.
8. The department will take responsibility for all facilities for pre-placement talks, group discussions, and interviews on campus. All possible hospitality will be extended to the visiting executives.
