What's New in Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth?

National Sanskrit University Admission 2023 is open for Prak Sashtri program. The Third Merit List for the same has been released. The last Date to apply for admission (Phase 3) is August 13, 2023. Also, National Sanskrit University Admission 2023 is open for Part time certificate, diploma, and PG Diploma programs. the last date to apply is August 27, 2023. National Sanskrit University UG Admission 2023 is open till August 14, 2023. Further, National Sanskrit University PhD (Vidyavaridhi) and PhD program admission 2023 are open now. The merit list for PhD (Vidyavaridhi) has been released. Candidates can apply for PhD (Vidyavaridhi) till August 12, 2023. The last date to apply for PG Admission 2023 open till August 10, 2023.  Interested candidates may apply through nsktucuet.samarth.edu.in for CUET-based programs and nsktuadmission.samarth.edu.in for NON-CUET programs.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG & PG Courses


To secure admission in UG courses, candidates need to be minimum of 17 years of age and should have cleared any of qualifying exam in 10+2 pattern that is mentioned by the University in the prospectus. For PG course admissions, aspirants should be of at least 20 years of age and should have cleared three year degree course/Sastri in respective subjects.

Note: Aspirants are advised to thoroughly go through the eligibility criteria as mentioned by Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Tirupati in the prospectus for the course in which they wish to secure admission.


Admission Process

Aspirants can secure admission in courses offered at the University as per rules governing eligibility, merit, good conduct etc., which is determined by the Vidyapeetha from time to time and also according to rules existing on the date of actual admission after interview.Candidates who have not studied Sanskrit at the qualifying exam level and who are seeking admission in courses at the University need to appear for Entrance Exam in Sanskrit conducted by RS Vidyapeeth, Tirupati.

Candidates can obtain the application form and prospectus in person, by post or online. To obtain the form and prospectus by hand candidates need to visit any nationalised bank and obtain the form by remitting the application fee through a Demand Draft (DD) that is drawn in favour of The Registrar, RS Vidyapeetha, Tirupati and payable at Tirupati or through Andhra Bank, RS Vidyapeetha branch, Tirupati bank challan.To obtain the application form through post candidates need to pay the fee through a DD that is drawn in favour of Registrar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, payable at Tirupati.

The online application form is available for download on the official website of the university. After filling the downloaded forms, candidates need to submit the duly filled application form with a DD that is drawn in favour of Registrar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha and is payable at Tirupati.
