Admission 2023-24 - Regional Institute Of Engineering (RIE]) Trivandrum

Those candidates who have passed Higher Secondary or 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or have completed an Engineering Diploma are eligible for admission to four-year Engineering Degree Courses.

• Candidates who have passed the 10th or equivalent examination are eligible for admission to three-year Engineering Diploma Courses.

• Admission to the B.E. courses will be through the Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical (KEAM) Entrance Exam.

• For the Engineering Diploma course, admission will be based on merit in the qualifying examination.

Regional Institute of Engineering offers a four-year Bachelor’s degree in various disciplines of Engineering. Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary or 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics especially 50% marks in Mathematics are eligible to take admission.

• Admission is given based on the KEAM entrance exam.

• The test will be for 2 hours 30 minutes.

• Candidate should be a of minimum 17 years of age.

• Non-Keralite candidates will have the eligibility to be admitted to RIE Trivandrum through management quota.

• Reserved category candidates have a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum aggregate.

• The college also offers Engineering Diploma Courses in six specializations for the candidates who have passed the minimum 10th or equivalent examination. Admission to this course is based on merit in the qualifying examination.

• SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate.
