Wi-Fi, Ropar IMT
Ropar IMT entered into a revolution in the e-space by making their all campus Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity). Its Internet connection is spread across the entire college via Wi-Fi networks. The hostels and the college have a 24 hour, continuous Internet connection.
There are many benefits to using Wi-Fi as an overlay network. It allows laptop users to have access with the company network (intranet as well as the Internet) to browse documents, presentations and other information.
Lab
The college is fully equipped with the latest technology. The labs are spacious and fully fledged. working under the different departments.
Library
The library at the College is housed in a large, new building that covers 1260 sq. ft. The library is accessible to staff and students all hours from 8.00 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. throughout the working days. The library is home to a large collection of approximately 40,385 volumes of text book or reference books, and international and national journals covering all areas of Engineering, Science, Technology, Management and General Studies The collection is growing. The books are classified based on the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme. Open access is the system used by the library.
Conference Hall
Ropar IMT is also provided with a state-of-the contemporary conference room for carrying out conferences and other meetings.
Seminar Hall
Ropar IMT's completely air-conditioned auditorium with seating capacity of 250 people is equipped with an computers, LCD projectsors and the latest microphone equipments.
The hall creates a unique setting for every occasion It provides the perfect setting to carry different seminars and giving lectures.
Sports
To develop the general personality of students, in order to build a strong personality, Ropar IMT focuses equally on sports. It is the continuous goal of the college to ensure that students develop intellectually and physically. The students from at the Ropar IMT regularly participate in inter-collegiate tournaments for various games and sports on campus as well as outside of the campus. They have took home numerous prizes. The Physical Education Department of the College regularly organizes Inter Collegiate competitions in various sports and Inter College Tournaments for games. These tournaments and competitions are recognized by affiliated universities, and participation by students from a variety of colleges is supported.
Canteen
College canteens are an expansive food establishment that was built with the purpose of providing healthy nutritious and healthy food to Ropar IMTians. The canteen is located near The Main Building and remains open all hours from 7.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. on all working days. There is a wide selection of Indian meals and snacks is readily available. In the lunch hour, meals are served at affordable cost. The cafeteria also operates on campus. The cafeteria, in addition to being clean, is also a fast service. It is a popular stop by hosts looking for an alternative to the usual hostel food as opposed to the occasional guest. The always-busy cafeteria brimming with curious minds is a sociable -cum-hangout spot for members of the Ropar IMT the family.
