The Bachelor of Dental Surgery program spans four years of academic study followed by a one-year paid internship. This comprehensive program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge essential for the diagnosis and treatment of various dental and oral health issues.  The curriculum is designed to instill proficiency in preventing, diagnosing, and managing anomalies and diseases related to teeth, mouth, jaws, and associated tissues, preparing graduates for general dental practice.

The BDS curriculum encompasses diverse subjects including human anatomy, oral pathology, pharmacology, periodontology, orthodontics, and community dentistry, among others.  It provides a holistic education in dentistry, nurturing students to pursue a fulfilling career as dental professionals.

Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Dental Surgery:

1. To be eligible for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
2. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before the 31st of December in the year of admission.
3. Completion of H.S.C / (+2) or an equivalent qualification in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Botany and zoology, with minimum marks as per Dental Council of India (DCI) norms.
4. Attainment of an eligible NEET (UG) score as prescribed by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
