Master of Technology (M.Tech) Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for admission to an M.Tech program in Electronics and Communication Engineering may vary slightly among institutions, but common prerequisites typically exist. These requirements aim to ensure that applicants possess a solid foundation in electronics and communication engineering. The general eligibility criteria include:

1. Minimum Marks: Many institutions stipulate a minimum marks requirement in the undergraduate degree. While the specific percentage may vary, candidates usually need to have scored at least 50% to 60% in their bachelor's degree.

2. Entrance Exams: In numerous countries, candidates are mandated to take national or university-level entrance exams for M.Tech programs. Admission processes often consider the scores obtained in these exams. Notable entrance exams include GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering), widely accepted for M.Tech admissions in India.
