Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangalore offers admission to full-time undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. SCEM Mangalore eligibility criteria are to obtain a valid score by candidates in national-level or state-level entrance examinations followed by counselling. SCEM Mangalore B.E/B.Tech courses are offered based on candidates' performance in the entrance exams like COMEDK UGET or KCET. Further, shortlisted candidates need to participate in COMEDK UGET/KCET counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment.  SCEM Mangalore MBA admission is based on the scores secured by the candidates in the entrance examinations such as Karnataka PGCET or MAT or KMAT. 

SCEM Mangalore Ph.D admission is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in the Visvesvaraya Technological University Eligibility Test (VTU-ETR) conducted by the university. Candidates who have a valid score in the UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), SLET/ GATE/ CAT, or any other national level test are exempted from the VTU Entrance test (VTU- ETR). Further, shortlisted candidates have to appear for a personal interview.
