ADMISSION PROCEDURE

  1. Selection of candidates is governed by the rules and regulations laid down in this regard from time to time.
  2. Candidates who wish to seek admission in any of the Diploma courses will have to appear for the Common Entrance Examination (POLYCET) conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana, Hyderabad.
  3. Only the candidates satisfying the following requirements will be eligible to appear for the Common Entrance Examination (POLYCET).
  4. The candidates seeking admission should have appeared for the X class examination, conducted by the Board of Secondary Examination, Telangana or equivalent examination thereto, at the time of making application to the Common Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (POLYCET). In case candidates apply pending results of their qualifying examinations, their selection shall be subject to the production of the proof of their passing the qualifying examination in one attempt or compartmentally at the time of interview for admission.
  5. Admissions are made based on the merit obtained in the Common Entrance Examination (POLYCET) and the reservation rules stipulated by the Government of Telangana from time to time.

Eligibility of Attendance to Appear for the End Examination

  1. A candidate shall be permitted to appear for the end examination in all subjects if he or she has attended a minimum of 75% of working days during the year/semester. Every Student must maintain a minimum of 75% of BAS (Biometric Attendance System) attendance.
  2. Condonation of Shortage of attendance in aggregate up to 20% (65% and above and below 75%) in each semester may be granted on medical grounds.
  3. Candidates having less than 65% attendance shall be detained.
  4. Students whose shortage of attendance is not condoned in any semester are not eligible to take their end examination of that class and their admissions shall stand cancelled. They may seek re-admission for that semester when offered next.
  5. A stipulated fee shall be payable towards condonation of shortage of attendance.
Application Process
  1. Candidates need to apply online.
  2. Applicants need to fill in every detail on the application form and pay the application fees.
  3. Applicants must take their hall ticket printout.
  4. After the exam Merit list will be published by the scheduled date.
  5. Selected candidates need to verify original documents.
  6. Candidates will be called for counselling.
  7. After counselling students need to pay the admission fees within the mentioned date.
